In any given category in the monthly writing competition, young authors may elect to compete against only their own age group. Two youth divisions are available: Youth Division 1 (age 10 and under), and Youth Division 2 (age 11 - 14). Authors who are older than age 14 at the time of submission may not compete in a Youth Division.
