Science Fiction Writing Competitions Quarterly

Are you a science fiction writer looking to get published? There are many thousands of people in your shoes and the catch is, it is very difficult to get your stories even read by editors if you have not yet been in print. To quote the great Joseph Heller, it is a catch 22.

One of the things you can do right now to help yourself get published is to enter as many legitimate contests as you can. A "win" will help you get noticed and the cool thing about Science Fiction Contest Quarterly is that the winning entries will be published in a quarterly ebook. In addition to that, every entry to the contest will recieve a valuable critique of the work.

Your submission should be a science fiction short story between the length of 500 and 7,500 words. It must be previously unpublished and must not be simultaneously submitted to any other contest or publication.

Entry Fee: $10 includes reading fee. All entries will receive a valuable critique of their work.

2nd Place:$100
3rd Place $75
4-8th Place: $25 each

All winners will have their winning entry published in the Science Fiction Contest Quarterly e-book. They will also receive a copy of the professionally edited e-book. All winners will receive a commemorative award certificate. Their bio and an exerpt of their story will appear on this website and will include a link to their own webpage to promote their future works.

Everyone who enters will receive a valuable critique of their work.

Fiction Writing Competitions' Eligibility:
The work must be previously unpublished and be a short story of no more than 7,500 words. Simultaneous submissions to other contests or publications are not allowed.
