"River Is" is a community engagement project that will draw the public to the Upper Riverfront this summer. We are asking our Fine Arts Photographers to document the Upper Riverfront in photographs which will be exhibited August 26th through October 1st in the Main Floor Gallery of the Mpls Photo Center and cataloged prior to the riverfront transformation.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's Minneapolis Riverfront Development Initiative (MR|DI) builds on our region's rich Mississippi River heritage-and passion for parks, nature and wildlife-to design and bring to life places along the Upper Riverfront where neighborhoods and businesses can grow and community members from near and far can enjoy recreational and cultural activities in a place truly like no other.

Cost for Entry: $25 for 5 images

Results Announced: August 2nd, 2011
