The Landguard Partnership are holding a competition to find the best 12 photographs taken on the Landguard Peninsula.

The Landguard Peninsula at Felixstowe in Suffolk offers an amazing array of opportunities for photography - giant ships, unique wildlife and the historic fort too. Take part in our competition and your photograph could become part of the new 2012 Landguard Calendar - plus the Judges Choice winner will enjoy a day with the award-winning local professional photographer James Fletcher. This one to one photographic tutorial includes lunch.

How to enter free Landguard photo contests

Just take a fantastic picture on the peninsula - whether the Nature Reserve, Fort, View Point area or Museum, then email it to us at the Landguard Partnership enquiries@landguardpartnership.org.uk

The competition is open to everyone and is also FREE to enter. The competition will close at midnight on the 30 July 2011.

Age group categories

U16's - a public vote determines the best 4 photos in this category.

U25's - a public vote determines the best 4 photos in this category.

Everyone else - a public vote determines the best 4 photos in this category.

Public voting will open on the 1 August 2011, and close for judges voting at midnight on
the 1 September 2011.

The Judges Choice winner will be picked from the final 12 by the judges.

Four winners from each category will be in the calendar and there will be an overall winner from the 12 final photos.
