EAST LONDON International Photography Festival is pleased to announce the call for entries to the open photography show to be held at the Rich Mix Gallery in Shoreditch. Extended Deadline 15th July 2011

The aim is to exhibit a wide range of subjects and approaches and give photographers more opportunity to participate in photomonth and exhibit their work to the public, press, publishers, curators and collectors.

Entry is open to all kinds of photographers, professional and non-professional, students and young people from all over the UK and the rest of the world. There are no restrictions on subject matter or numbers of entries made per photographer. All entries will be shown on screen or in print in the gallery.

ALL ENTRIES will be continuously screened at the PHOTO-OPEN EXHIBITION and a number of images will be selected for printing, mounting and hanging in the gallery space. Photographers whose images are selected for printing will be contacted and asked to submit high resolution files. Full details will be sent.

ENTRY FEES are £10 per image or at the concessionary rate of £5 per image and must be pre-paid with your submission. Concessions apply to full time students, the unemployed on benefits and pensioners. Payment may be made by cheque, postal order, or money order in pounds sterling, and made payable to Alternative Arts. Credit card payments cannot be accepted.

ALL PARTICIPATING PHOTOGRAPHERS will be given invitations to the Opening of the Photo-Open on Thursday 3 November 2011 from 6pm to 9pm at the Rich Mix Gallery and may bring guests.

Your prize is to be exhibited at the Rich Mix Gallery in Shoreditch East London and invited to the Opening Party with your friends and family on Thursday 3 November 2011 from 6pm-9pm.
