Entry Deadline: Sept. 1, 2011; 8:00 pm PDT
Grand Opening: October 1, 2011
Open Call to Artists: 2D and 3D Visual Art Qualified Artwork:
Accepting all 2D and 3D visual art mediums that offer a statement, commentary, view on politics, issues of our world, our society, or our life.
Open Call to Artists: 2D and 3D Visual Art Intention:
We are hosting the Political and Social Art exhibit to showcase the artwork of our times. We are offering a forum for artwork and artists that attempt to convey a message, prompt a dialogue, provide a social commentary, or simply ask the viewer to contemplate. Through Infinity Art Gallery’s online exhibit we intend to increase exposure for political and social artists, by providing the opportunity for their artwork to be seen by not only those interested in this art form, but by visitors who may not be familiar with the myriad of styles and artistic talent represented.
Finalists will be selected for artistic excellence. Artwork will be selected solely on its own merit without regard to the artists’ name, geographic location, national home or any other factor outside of the quality of their artwork.
Exhibitions:
All exhibits take place online at www.InfinityArtGallery.com and showcase artwork by international contemporary artists. Jury selected artwork will be exhibited for three months online at InfinityArtGallery.com.
All eligible entries submitted by artists may be displayed online during the call-to-artists. Artists may choose not to participate in the pre-exhibit show and will have the option for jurors only when they submit their work.
Open Call to Artists: 2D and 3D Visual Art Eligibility:
All juried exhibits are open for artists everywhere to submit.
Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Publishers, galleries, agents, and collectors may not submit artwork on behalf of artists. Media (video/film/audio) not accepted. The original design and concept must have been created by the submitting artist, have been created without the use of a kit, and may not have been created under supervision or instruction. Though we understand that some imagery may be necessary to provide a complete picture of the social or political commentary, the gallery will not post images that they believe the artistic community would reject. We don’t anticipate rejecting any artwork.
