Discovery of New Talent Photo Award
Welcome to Discovery of New Talent Photo Award
We invite emerging and mid-career photographers from around the world to submit work to the International Fine Art Photography competition—an annual program focused on providing recognition and exposure for talented photographic artists of all ages (18 years and older).
All images will be thoughtfully reviewed by our panel of jurors. Finalists will be selected for exhibition, and winners will receive cash awards as well as exhibition and publication opportunities in the international fine art photography community.
Submissions open May 7, 2012 and close August 15, 2012.
Early bird submission from May 7–July 15, 2012.

The Discovery of New Talent Photo Awards
The Grand Prix de la Découverte winner (the photographer with the outstanding image of the year) receives an award of $5,000, travel to Paris, and a weekend stay in The City of Light for the awards ceremony.
Category winners receive an award of $1000.
All finalists’ photographs will be
- presented in a Paris exhibit in November in conjunction with Paris Photo 2012 and Paris Mois de la Photo
- included in the exhibit catalog
- accepted into the prestigious collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France
- presented in aCurator magazine and blog, read by museum and gallery curators throughout the world
- exhibited in the International Fine Art Photography online gallery
