The following prizes will be awarded the the three best photos:

First prize
Two long week-end trips for two persons to two European cities of their choice and a tablet computer.

Second prize
One long week-end trip for two persons to one European city of their choice and a tablet computer.

Third prize
A tablet computer

In addition, winners of the competition will be invited to take part in an award ceremony during the second half of 2012.

EU Citizens Photo Contest Theme
The competition is organised under the theme of active
ageing and solidarity between generations.

Title of the competition: Life 2.0 - Ready for a new start?
Compliance with the theme of the competition is mandatory.
You are lacking inspiration? Check the inspirational wall.

The "Inspirational wall" might give you ideas for your photo.

EU Citizens Photo Contest Rules
Before applying, please read carefully the competition rules.

Your participation to the competition presupposes
that you have read the rules and indicated your agreement.

For EU residents aged 18-108
The competition is open to any nationality. Nevertheless, entrants
have to be resident in one of the 27 EU Member States.

This year, to celebrate Active Ageing, the age limit has been extended.
Entrants aged 18 to 108 are allowed to enter the competition.

For amateur photographers
Professional photographers and anyone else working in the field of
photography will be automatically excluded from the competition.

You could be asked to provide the organisers with an occupation /
study certificate at a later stage of the competition.
