Can you take a photograph that encapsulates Life in the Country?

If so, you could be in with the chance of winning one of six £500 prizes. Six runner-up prizes include a Musto Westmoor Jacket worth £195.

The National Countryside Photography Competition in association with The Prince’s Countryside Fund and The National Countryside Week has just been launched for 2012.

Join us in our search for the photograph that best captures Life in the Country by showing us your favourite photographs taken in one of six categories.

This is a photographic competition that is open to everyone and all areas of photography.
The only specification is that your photograph must capture Life in the Country, subject to the full terms and conditions of The National Countryside Photography Competition, which can be accessed by the link below.

How the Life in the Country Photo Contest will work

You will need to upload your images into one of six categories, they are as follows:
Finest View
Down on the Farm
Countryside People
My Favourite Place
By the Sea
Wildlife

Let your imagination run wild and upload your most spectacular photographs of Life in the Country today!
Entrants may upload a maximum of 6 images.

The Life in the Country Photo Contest judging process

Upon closure of the submissions period (12.00 hours on 22 June, 2012), a shortlist of all entries will be reviewed by the judging panel, and a final vote will be held to determine the award recipient and honourable mention recipients in each category.

A winner will be picked from each of the six categories and each will receive £500. There will be a runner-up from each category - each to receive a Musto jacket.

Image Specifications:
Only digital JPEGS should be entered, minimum 3MB in size
