Queen's Entrepreneurs' Contest 2013
First step is creating a business plan and submitting it to your appropriate competitor coordinator for your region by October 28 at 11:59PM EST. The business plans will be judged based on: financials, marketing, human resources, originality, production & operation, quality/conciseness, overall viability. For the specific requirements of the business plan submission please see the Criteria Section of the Competitor package.
If you qualify to be apart of our top 18 teams you will be notified by mid December. If you are apart of our top 18 you are invited to our Final Weekend, January 17 – 19, in Kingston, Ontario. On Friday, the top 18 teams will each present to a panel of judges and participate in a question and answer session. That evening we will announce our final six teams who will present on Saturday to a new panel of judges. The judges will then deliberate and select our award winners.

the twenty-fifth anniversary of Queen's Entrepreneurs' Competition (QEC) founded in 1988. The QEC has grown to become Canada's greatest undergraduate business competition, awarding $25,000 in cash and prizes annually. New York Times has stated that the QEC is, "One of the longest-running and best-known undergraduate business plan competitions in the world."
To celebrate our twenty-fifth anniversary, the QEC will be returning to its roots in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. With the recent completion of the Queen's University Goodes Hall expansion, the QEC will showcase the progress both we and the Queen's School of Business have made over the past twenty five years.
