Blog Contest - Prize travel for World Environment Day

Contest:  UNEP’s blogging competition

Eligibility:  Anyone can enter

Closes on: 28 February 2013

Prizes: The winner of the competition will travel to the host country* to blog, and tweet on World Environment Day events and activities for UNEP taking place between 3rd and 6th June 2013.

How to enter and win:

Inform and Inspire. Write a compelling blog post about food waste in line with the theme, Think.Eat.Save – Reduce your foodprint!  Inform people about the extended environmental impact of food waste. Your post should also inspire and excite people to reduce their food waste.

Entries must be received between 6 February and 28 February 2013 (23:59hrs +3 GMT).
To increase your chances of winning, post your story on Twitter with the hash tag #WED2013, and encourage friends to comment, ‘like’ the post on Facebook, and retweet your post across Facebook and Twitter.

Important: If you do not have a Facebook account you may email a link to your entry to worldenvironmentday@unep.org. Entry article must however be live on your own blog webpage. An email entry without a web link to your active online article will be rejected.
