You are an artist, a creative, a person of vision. Show us who you are in art/images and have a chance at a New York City Exhibition and a $25,000 prize

Introduce your story to the world. You are invited to participate in an open call for art and photography, with the goal of launching the story of one artist on the world stage.

In each work you create lies a story of who you are as an artist. We are looking for a special talent, like yours, to bring to the forefront of the art world. Over the past five years, Artists Wanted has supported artists from all over the world, distributing over $1.5 million in awards and providing an unparalleled amount of exposure, with much more to come.

Your story is one of the most important ever told. You are invited to share your expressions of: Self.

Who is eligible to enter The 2012 Creative Works Awards?

Any creative person in the world can enter the competition, as long as you are 18 years of age or older. All you need is inspiration, images showing your creative work and a few minutes to upload them using our simple online system.

Artists who enter Premium Submissions are eligible for all prize packages: the Grand Prize, Early Entry (for artists who join by the Early Deadline) and People's Choice awards, as well as printed inclusion in the Limited Edition SELF book. Artists who enter a Basic Submission will only be eligible for the People's Choice Award.

all competition - Visiting Arts in the UK launches a call for artists worldwide, and will select 200 Voices to profile and showcase some of the world’s most exciting artists online through 2012.

In 2012 the eyes of the world are on London and the UK for the world’s biggest sporting event, the London 2012 Olympics. We want to reflect this global occasion back to those people looking into the UK. We want to give artists from every country in the world the opportunity to tell the world what it’s like to live and work in their country in the 21st century. To inspire and be inspired.

200 Voices will profile, spread and showcase some of the world’s most exciting artists online throughout 2012. Launching on January 1, submissions will be streamed throughout the year.

We are asking for an image, short film, piece of music or text responding to these three questions:

• What is it like to be an artist working in your country?
• How do your local surroundings and context influence your work and your practice?
• Is there anything you would like to say to other artists across the world about your situation?
