The savewater! awards® are now in their ninth year, and have emerged as Australia’s leading awards for water sustainability. These prestigious awards recognise and reward excellence in water conservation and efficiency by business, government, schools, local communities and individuals.

Entries are now open, and close at 5pm (AEST) Monday 8 August 2011.

The national 2011 savewater! awards® program is now open for entries.

2011 categories of entry

There are eight savewater! awards® categories, including Australian Achiever, Business, Community Groups, Educational Institutions, Government, Photographic, Product Innovations, Water Utilities, plus an Overall Award for Excellence. The savewater!® Alliance is honoured to also be hosting the 2011 Prime Minister’s Water Wise Award for the Australian Government Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, as part of the savewater! awards® program.
