The Kingspan Legacy Competition is a design challenge open to professional architects and students of architecture, seeking competitive submissions in the Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, Retail and Corporate (low-rise) categories.

The Kingspan Legacy Competition closes October 1, 2011. The top 10 entries will be chosen by online voting on the competition website. The winner and two runners up will be selected by a panel of architects and industry experts at Greenbuild 2011. The winning design will be featured in the November issue of Architect Magazine. A scholarship of $5,000 will be made in the winner's name, and awarded to a promising architecture/engineering student at the educational institution of their choosing. If the winner is a student, they will be the scholarship's recipient. In addition, the winner will receive an Apple MacBook Pro, so they can start working on their legacy today. Both runners up will each receive an Apple iPad 2.
