2012 competition - INTERNATIONAL NATURE PHOTO COMPETITION ASFERICO 2012

2012 Nature Photo Contest Prizes for a value of €10.000 divided in 8 categories.
The overall winner will receive an ulterior award of € 2.000.

• A – Landscape
Entries must show scenes that are truly wild and awesome. They should convey a sense of wonder and wildness.
• B – The underwater world
Images must feature marine or freshwater life
• C – Mammals
• D – Birds
• E – Other animals
C – D – E Images must show memorable, unusual or striking behaviour. Portraits should capture the character or spirit of the subject and focus on it. The key here is striking originality.
• F – Plants and fungi
This is the category for pictures that highlight the beauty, diversity and importance of all forms of plant life.
• G – Composition and forms
Pictures in this category must illustrate natural subjects in abstract ways, and will be judged for their aesthetic values)
• H – Tema dell’anno: “Natura d’Italia: luci e colori”

Vincent Munier– fotografo naturalista
Paolo Paolucci - pittore fotografo naturalista

For each category there will be a winner. They will receive an award in photography equipment and a copy of the exhibition book; more over for each category there will be 9 commended images that will have the exhibition book as well.
The winners and the authors of the commended images will be invited at the prize ceremony.
The works will reach with completed entry form, entry fee (€ 25) and list of the images that has to include following data: category, progressive number of the photo, title and place of the photo and technical data, not later than 12 december 2011.
