Welcome to the 2nd Annual Foster Farms Fresh Chicken Cooking Contest. We are excited to see your original recipe featuring Foster Farms fresh chicken and ingredients that are local to your area - like California avocados, Washington apples or Oregon marrionberries. Fifteen semifinalists will have the chance to compete for a trip to the Napa Valley and a chance to be chosen as our 2011 Grand Prize winner. Make sure you don’t miss out on submitting YOUR recipe.

Contest key dates:

• May 31, 2011: All recipes MUST be submitted by May 31 in order to be considered
• July 2011:15 semifinalists (5 from California, 5 from Oregon and 5 from Washington) will be selected to participate in the regional events
• August - September 2011: Regional events will be held in California, Oregon and Washington
• September 30, 2011: Final event will be held in California’s Napa Valley at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone
