Wedding Photography Awards 2011 Rules

1. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit.

2. Images previously entered for MPA national awards are not permitted.

3. Entrants agree that any entered image may be used by the Master Photographers Association in any of their printed material, publications or electronic media.

4. Images produced on photographic workshops/seminars are not permitted.

5. Wedding and Portrait images must be from commissioned work. All images should have been created/produced between June 1st 2010 and July 31st 2011.

6. Any image which has already won a UK national award from any other Professional Photographic organisation is not permitted.

7. By entering, the photographer acknowledges that employer, client and/or subject have copyright release or model release giving permission for the image to be published or exhibited in connection with these awards and that he/she is the author of the work as defined in the Design, Copyright and Patents Act 1988.

8. Any entries which do not conform to the rules will be removed and no payments returned.

9. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Entrants may enter the same image in up to three categories , but must submit a separate file/print for every category.

11. The judges, if agreed unanimously, may transfer any image into a more appropriate category.

12. The MPA reserves the right to remove from the Competition any images submitted , which in the Association’s opinion, contravene legal guidelines on public decency or which would bring the Association into disrepute.

13. The Closing Date for the Awards is: Monday August 15th 2011

14. Information correct at time of publication – the MPA reserve the right to amend any of the above without notice.
