HOW TO ENTER Online Contests - Win iPad 2
Starting Monday August 22nd at approximately 11:00 am., Eastern Time (“ET”) eligible entrants can enter the W Network Fall Premiere Week Contest by entering on-line. Eligible entrants must fully complete and submit the entire on-line Contest entry form, including your full name, age, email address, province of residence, postal code and daytime phone number with area code. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
A fully completed on-line entry form will constitute one (1) entry into the Contest. A maximum of one (1) entry per person/per email address per day should they qualify. Proof of sending an entry is not proof of receipt by Sponsors (defined below).
Only one (1) e-mail address and account may be used by any eligible entrant to enter the Contest. If it is discovered that an entrant has attempted to enter more than one (1) time per day, that entrant will be disqualified from the Contest. Entries must be made by the original manual keystrokes of the individual entrant. Should it be discovered that an entrant is using the aid of computer/software programs to auto-fill entries, that entrant will be disqualified from the Contest. The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify all such entrants from future contests conducted by the Sponsors without further notice.

CONTEST CLOSING DATE:
The Contest closes at 11:59 a.m. ET on Monday September 12th, 2011 (the “Contest Closing Date”).

The approximate retail value of the Prize Pack is Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($1250.00 CDN).
The Prize Package as described is subject to availability, may not be exchanged for cash, is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-saleable, and must be accepted “as awarded”. At their sole election, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any portion of the Prize Package with a prize of equivalent or greater retail value. All costs and incidental expenses relating to and associated with the Prize Package which are not explicitly included as part of the Prize Package description, including transportation, accommodation, meals, taxes or gratuity for the Prize Package, shall be the responsibility of the declared winner. Prize Package is subject to space availability and any terms and conditions imposed by the selected establishment.
NOTE: All required documentation for redemption of the Prize Package will be sent via mail directly to the selected entrant’s home only if the selected entrant has met the eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Contest Rules and Regulations, and the selected entrant has completed, signed and returned the Official Contest Declaration and Release Form to W Network and been confirmed as, and declared, a winner.
Online Contests ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all individual residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of Monday August 22nd, 2011, except: employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsors, their respective parent, related and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and those domiciled with such employees, representatives and agents. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and all decisions of the Contest judges, which shall be final and binding on all entrants in all matters relating to this Contest.
PRIZE DRAW
W Network judges (“Contest judges”) at the W Network offices in Toronto, Ontario will conduct a random draw for the Prize Package on Monday September 12th, 2011 at approximately 2:00 p.m. ET from all eligible entries received prior to the Contest Closing Date. Attempts will be made to contact the selected entrants by email, telephone or mail. If, within Seven (7) days of the draw date the selected entrants cannot be contacted, or fail to respond to any attempted contact or message left for him/her, such selected entrant will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void, he/she will not receive any prize and the Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry for the Prize Package in accordance with the Contest Rules, in which event the foregoing provisions of this sentence shall apply to such other eligible entry.
In order to be declared the winner of the a Prize Package, the selected entrant must be in compliance with the Contest Rules and correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid; sign and return the Official Contest Declaration and Release Form (“Declaration and Release”); and return companions’ Declaration and Release Forms confirming, among other things, compliance with the Contest Rules and releasing the Sponsors from all liability and acceptance of the Prize Package as awarded, as well as including a publicity release. Any guest participating in the Prize Package may also be required to sign a Declaration and Release. A Prize Package will be delivered only to the confirmed winner. If a selected entrant fails to sign and return the Declaration and Release within Seven (7) days of the selection of his/her entry, or within such later period of time, if any, as may be permitted by the Sponsors, in their sole and absolute discretion, then that entrant will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void, he/she will not receive any prize and the Sponsors reserve the right to select at random another eligible entry in accordance with the Contest Rules, in which event, the foregoing provisions of this sentence shall also apply to such other eligible entry.
The chances of being selected as a selected entrant depend upon the total number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date.
The Sponsors will not be held responsible for the loss of prizes due to changes in mailing addresses, errors in completed entry forms or any other circumstances leading to an invalid, erroneous or incomplete mailing address or e-mail address. The Prize Package will be delivered within approximately Thirty (30) days after the selected entrant’s confirmation as a winner.
All decisions of the Contest judges are final.
CONSENT TO USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
By entering this Contest electronically and voluntarily providing their personal information, entrants consent and agree to the Sponsors’ collection, use, and disclosure of the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest, including contacting an entrant in relation to the Contest, and as otherwise permitted by law. The Sponsors will not use an entrant’s personal information for any other reason, nor will the Sponsors otherwise disclose an entrant’s personal information to any third party. See W Network’s online Privacy Policy for information on how personal information received is handled in respect of the Contest. Any questions regarding the Privacy Policy and/or treatment of an entrant’s personal information should be directed via e-mail to W Network’s Privacy Manager, A. Stren, at membership@wnetwork.com. By entering the Contest or participating as the Prize Package winner’s guest, entrants who are selected to win a prize consent to the use of their name, province of residence, voice, comments, likeness, image and/or photograph, for any promotion/publicity and programming purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media used by the Sponsors and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, without territorial or time limitations and without further payment or compensation.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All Contest entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entrants can request a complete set of Contest Rules and Regulations by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a request, bearing sufficient postage, to: Producer, W Network: ‘Jennifer Weiner’ Book Contest, 25 Dockside Drive, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 0B5.
By participating in this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules, including eligibility requirements. Entrants and any person participating in the Prize Package release and hold harmless the Sponsors, their parent, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, members, dealers, advertising, franchisees, promotional agencies and each of their respective directors, successors, sponsors, partners, licensees, officers, subsidiaries, agents, employees, advisors, assignees, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Contest, from and against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims and demands, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach and liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which an entrant or his/her administrators, heirs, successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason of or arising out of an entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by an entrant of the Prize Package awarded.
The Sponsors are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of registration or entry information which may affect a person’s ability to participate in the Contest, including but not limited to human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed/corrupted data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, any inability to access the site, or damage to a user’s system occasioned by participating in the Contest, and entries which fail to fully comply with these Contest Rules.
In the event of a dispute regarding any entry, the entry is deemed made by the “authorized account holder” of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (i.e. the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail address). A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the “authorized account holder” of the email address associated with the selected entry.
No responsibility will be taken by the Sponsors for lost, stolen, delayed, destroyed, falsified, mutilated, garbled or misdirected entries, or computer system failure. No responsibility will be taken by the Sponsors for any failure of the Contest web site during the Contest or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, online, or Internet entry to be received by the Sponsors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material relating to, the Contest. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, suspend or terminate this Contest and/or these Contest Rules, at any time, without notice and for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsors corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification by the Contest judges and will be declared invalid if they are forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
The Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws.
