Texas Recipe Competition
We’d like to share your best original holiday recipes with 2.8 million Texas Co-op Power readers and give you a chance to win cash prizes and the acclaim of your friends and family.
Send us your best original pecan recipes—savory and sweet. Winning recipes will highlight how to use Texas pecans in clever and imaginative ways to dress up savory vegetables, meats and salads or sweet confections such as cookies, pies and candies. All recipes must include pecans. Be sure to use real Texas pecans for the best results; the Texas Pecan Board’s list of retailers is available here.
In addition to our $2,000 Grand Prize, we’re also awarding $1,000 each in the Best Sweet Recipe and Best Savory Recipe categories. Two runners-up will also each win $500.
