win 400 dollars (video and photo contest)
As part of the ‘Do One Thing For Diversity and Inclusion’ 2012 campaign, the UNESCO Centre of Florence in partnership with the UN Alliance of Civilizations and all the partners of the campaign is launching a video and photo contest to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
Due to growing interest in participation, the deadline has been extended to allow more people all around the world to register for the contest until August 15.
You can still participate for a chance to win 400 dollars (offered by Sodexo to both photo and video winners), 200 dollars (offered also by Sodexo), 1 ipad 2 (offered by Genentech) and many other prizes. So enjoy summer to send your videos and photos showing diversity and inclusion and have fun “Doing One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion”.

Subject: What does “Diversity and Inclusion” mean to you? Why does diversity matter to you? Show us your personal vision.
The videos can be in any language, or even made without an audio soundtrack. If your video is in a language other than English, French, Italian or Spanish, we kindly ask you to provide subtitles in the above mentioned languages. The videos/photos must be original and unpublished and they must not have been posted previously on any web page. Music, video, or images whose copyrights or other rights are held by anyone other than the participant CANNOT be used. To win, videos and photos need to address the issue of cultural DIVERSITY and INCLUSION. Be creative, try to create something new, and avoid being harassing or embarrassing.
Video Format: All entries must be in one of the following formats .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, or .MPG and be in high definition quality.
Maximum length: 2 minutes
Photo: Can be in color or black & white. High Quality: JPG or TIF format
Smallest dimension admitted = 2,336 pixels

After contacting us you’ll be invited to upload your video or send your photo through specific tools.
Mandatory: Each person appearing in your video/photos must sign a specific authorization to use the personal images invoices. The only accepted authorization form will be available as soon as you contact us by e-mail to present your intention to participate. Additionally, you must sign the consent form for the use of your masterpiece in our network communication channels.
Submission Deadline: Entries must be submitted by August 15
