The Kingspan Legacy Papercraft Competition is a design challenge open to professional architects and students of architecture. Channel your creative aptitude to produce the most imaginative, visually intriguing, legacy-worthy structure you can. Whether you're the brains of the operation or an intern waiting for a career break, this is your moment to be judged on the strength of your talent and imagination alone.

We are seeking competitive submissions in the Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, Retail and Corporate (low-rise) categories. Your design will be judged on visual impact, originality, utility, sustainability and for making maximal use of Kingspan insulated metal panels.

The Kingspan Legacy Competition kicks off May 12, 2011 and closes October 1, 2011. The top 10 entries will be chosen by online voting at LegaciesAreBuilt.com. The winner and two runners up will be selected by a panel of architects and industry experts at Greenbuild 2011. The winning design will be featured in the November issue of Architect Magazine.

First Prize of Papercraft Contest
The winner will receive a MacBook Pro, and a scholarship of $5,000 made in their name; if the winner is a student, they'll receive the scholarship.

Additional Prizes of Papercraft Contest
Both runners up receive an iPad 2, and will also have their buildings featured in the November issue of Architect Magazine.
